Altech Corporation is an established and respected United States based supplier of European components and devices used in industrial control, instrumentation and automation applications. From its inception in 1986 by the late Heinz W. Meise, Altech has been committed to three fundamental corporate principles: providing superior service,offering high quality products and building strong partnerships with suppliers.

Altech's initial endeavor was sourcing hard to find replacement parts for European manufacturing, automation and material handling equipment. After recognizing the demand for European control components, Altech changed its strategy and became a multi-line supplier. In 1992, Altech broke ground on a new 19,095 square foot corporate building located in Flemington, NJ. Subsequent growth forced Altech to expand its warehouse by 12,769 square feet two years later.

Product Managers and Engineers provide technical support and partner with suppliers in design assistance and product certifications for the North American market. Highly trained and efficient Customer Service Department establishes the essential link between Altech and its customers. The versatile Assembly Department enables Altech to offer manufacturing, value added and customization services to its diverse clientele. Altech's capable warehouse staff receives and stocks 3-5 tons of freight every week and ships 90% of orders the same day they are received. Altech's Marketing Department has been recognized for its catalog, advertising and Web site designs, while the Sales Department motivates and manages over 20 manufacturer's representatives groups and 120 distributors throughout North America.

Altech's commitment to continuous quality management was recognized on May 27, 1999 when they were awarded the prestigious honor of ISO 9001 certification. Today, Altech occupies 31,000 square feet of office and warehouse space and employs 47 people.
